Hello, hello, hello and welcome to my SLP Corner of the internet. My name is Shannon Briggs and I am a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist. I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada and work at Speech Meta Therapy Services Inc., a private practice clinic where I have a play-based, child-led therapy approach and strive to work towards functional outcomes! I adore my clients and their families and love helping them reach their goals.

SLP Corner is a shared space to learn regarding all things speech, language, and social communication. I am a big proponent of evidence-based practice and try to make sure that's included in all of my posts.

You can find me on Instagram and of course on my podcast - weekly episodes released on Monday’s. Look forward to listening to a collection of expert interviews on a variety of topics in speech, language and social communication.
